My pet peeve (hope I didn't just miss this one), is a sale that says, "up to 50% and more". Well is it up to 50% or is it more. Make up your darned minds.


LOL! OK, I can't resist this thread any more. This is beyond off topic.

As long as we're on the subject of pet peeves, I have never forgotten the pet peeve of a college roommate. She couldn't stand it when people misused the word "literally." As in, "The taste of this candy literally explodes in your mouth!!"

And no one on this board has been guilty of this, but infer and imply don't mean the same thing!
