My point is that poverty for most people is a choiceWhat utter and absolute drivel. People don't CHOOSE to have ignorant parents. People don't CHOOSE to be ignorant themselves. And yet, lack of education is pretty much the one thing that is common worldwide to those who live in poverty. If someone with a college education were living in poverty, we'd probably assume that he/she had been stricken with a severe mental illness. So, why would we assume that someone without a good education made the choice to live in poverty?
