My portfolio consist of stock picked from hidden gems list
(I'm a member ). But sometimes I have some pangs of conscience
beeing<sic> not covered by a suitable securities.

Have you some good advices to give me and to others, in order to hedge
this kind of portfolio? stock options exist in almost every(e.g.Put option) stock. But unfortunately ,most of them are expensive as a premium and suffer of liquidity.

So, what are the good alternatives?

Almost all hedging activity sacrifices at least some part of the return.

I protect my portfolio by watching it every day. I am not a subscriber of any of TMF Premium pay services. I find too many good to great investment ideas on my own to buy them all. I was a professional investor from 1975 - until I retired at 51 in October 1995.

Most of my stock holdings are listed in my MF Profile. I would list MLP, which I have owned since March 1972, but there was not enough room to list it.
