My spouse was hesitant at first too. I would suggest not pushing ahead without his consent. That would damage the marriage. Communication is key here, so you need to ask him straight to his face in a loving way if what he said in the past was what he meant or not. Ask him why he is dragging his feet now. Like I said our venture was a slow start, but now we have 6 rentals and this year will make that into 11.
