My wife and I have several accounts at Ameritrade (1 brokerage, and 2 ROTHs). I have been happy with them, but Scottrade has no fee mutual fund transactions. So I think for our new money, I will open a Scottrade account.

Eventually I may move the old accounts to Scottrade also. But since there is a fee to transfer a ROTH out of Ameritrade, I'm in no hurry to move the old accounts. I don't expect to buy/sell anything soon in the Ameritrade accounts, so I'll leave them at Ameritrade for now.
