My wife is a third grade teacher, from talking to her i think more learning would take place if the kids who cause trouble would be taken out of class and put in a special boot camp type of learning environment where crap isn't tolerated. Teachers know the kids that don't want to learn from the beginning of the year when the second grade teachers tell the third grade teachers who's a pain in the ass. My wife is telling me that usually the kids parents don't care that their kid acts up and is disrespectful, that's a problem.

I would also have more accountability for money being sent to school districts. There is no need for more money if they spend the windfall on marble floors for the district office. The money is not getting to the classroom level.

2828 is available for consultations and can speak to large groups.
