My wife wrote: . . . ."not sitting on my BUTT."

Husband (DDW says):

Anyone on the forum . . . did I EVER say that all she does is "sit on her butt?"

I have two wishes, that she would acknowledge that she is just as responsible for our debt mess as I am. That would be right and fair wouldn't it?

And . . .

That she would get a REAL JOB, like we had agreed upon, a long time ago. However, she likes this cleaning business idea because it gives her flexibility. 'Flexibility' is a reward to the wise and well-off. We are neither of those two...

My prediction -- she will come on here sometime over the next 24 hours and explain to all why it is better for her to have her flexibility/cleaning business rather than a real job. . . She'll mention daycare expenses and other things. I have answers for all of her 'reasons' but I will bore nobody with them.

As many have mentioned on this thread -- the proper sequence:

1st: Cut back our expenses

2nd: She gets a real J.O.B., then works her cleaning business. If it (the cleaning business) really takes off and she starts making some real money . . . then she could quit her J.O.B. . . .

But, first things first, no excuses, get a real 9-5 like the rest of us. That is my opinion. Her opinion will be MUCH different. Such is life here in our tense home.

Our poor daughters . . .

Work hard AND work smart . . . Nice goal.
