Liked today's Fribble. Since I live in Denver, home of many defunct airlines, here's a giant reason to have a credit card and use it. Using a credit card is the only way to immediately be able to do something about tickets you purchased on an airline that goes under(say like Western Pacific). I will never buy an airline ticket with anything except a credit card. Granted I don't have a problem with credit cards but even if you have to have someone else keep possession of your card because credit cards are a problem for you, don't buy an airline ticket with anything else. (I'm sure you can probably find the sob stories of other methods of purchase at either the Rocky Mountain News or Denver Post websites.) What happens if you purchase any other way ? You get in line at bankruptcy court.
