I have a cat named Darka. I've mentioned her on here before. She pee's anywhere she wants, whenever she wants Has ever since I got her 6 years ago and for the past 2 months it has moved from the floors to all over the furniture. I'm at my wits end. The docs can't find anything wrong with her and I can't find anyone who will take her and I just can't bring myself to take her to a shelter. All the no kill places are full and are not giving me much hope.I've been on the waiting lisats for over a year and have even offered $100.00 hoping they would cave.

I've tried little tricks people have suggested, even peppermint oil where she likes to go but it just makes her pick a new place. I've tried 3 different litter boxes with 3 different kinds of litter...nothing works.

Darka is about 10 years old with bad teeth but otherwise fine. I really don't want this cat in my home anymore, I'm begining to lose patience and I am starting to yell at her because I resent how she is destroying my home.

So, this may sound cruel but it is the reality. My question is, if it were you, would you saw screw it and drop her at the shelter, or take her to the vet and have her put down while you hold her and make it peaceful instead of sitting in a hot cage for 7 days before THEY do the same thing only less humane?

Or does someone have some other idea? I live in the mountains and she's declawed so I can't just put her out, she'd be coyote food in less than 24 hours.

My house smells awful and I can't take it anymore....what to do?
