On 1/11/2012 FARO jumped up over 7% to reach what I think is an all time high. The only info I can find that might have driven the jump is the investor presentation that was made earlier in the day. The link is:

The discussion of financials only goes through Q3 2011 so nothing is new there. But the presentation is very positive on potential growth areas. Its also an outstanding quick overview of the business.

Some comments that might be "new" are:

- There are many non-manufacturing 3D scanner opportunities that they are pursuing
- They see a $3 to $5 billion per year revenue opportunity
- Only 5% penetrated of total opportunity
- Growing more than 25% per year
- Still no competitive response to the new laser scanner

I hope the RB team is considering FARO!
