Hi, I started trading back in August and I have made some rookie mistakes.

I purchased 169 shares of Activision Blizzard (ATVI) back around October at $12.30, Since than the stock has only went above $12.30 maybe twice. I bought it when it was on a bubble up and shortly after it came back down and the stock has been around $11ish for most of the time. It is currently at $11.51. Any advice? Should I keep waiting, should I sell and take the loss?

Also, this is a very similar sitution. I bought 105 shares of Alcoa Inc. (AA) a few weeks ago when it was at $14.25 and since has gone down and now it is at $13.80 but has gone as low at $13.60. I know I should be more patient with this stock since I just bought it, however I think I bought it at a high price and it might not go that up for awhile.

I was thinking of possibly hedging or rebuying these two stocks when there at low prices to rebalance the price I have it at. But, I dont have large funds and I do want to purchase shares of Citi (C) and invest more in Ford (F) (I made the mistake of only buying 79 shares of Ford, boy am I kicking myself now!).

any and all feedback and opinion is appreciated.
Thank you for your advice.
