Fools,

Later today, we plan on launching a new login procedure that will revolutionize the way business is done on the web.....Er...okay, it won't exactly revolutionize anything but the way you sign on to the Fool each day. Instead of having that little browser pop-up to sign into the Fool, you'll now be able to indicate "Remember my password" so that you don't have to login each day.

Logout

For those of you who are security conscious, access the Fool at work, or are just concerned with others using your computer, we now have a logout feature too. This will close the session you're in and require you to logon again when you come back.

You won't have to close your browser to logout anymore.

Cookies!

In order for us to remember passwords, we have to set a cookie on everyone's machine. Some of you may not want to accept our cookie. Unfortunately, if you don't accept the cookie, you won't be able to login to the Fool anymore. For most people, there will be no problems at all, but we wanted to address the issue for those concerned about cookies. If you'd like to read our take on cookies, please click here:

http://www.fool.com/community/login/cookies.htm

If you notice any problems with this new login procedure, please let us know.

Fool on!

Bogey
