(Nasdaq:FLSH - news), the leader in flash based local storage solutions for the Internet Appliance (IA) and embedded markets, today announced that National Semiconductor Corporation (NYSE:NSM - news) has selected DiskOnChip as the preferred local storage solution for its Geode(TM)-based IA software development kits.

Additionally, DiskOnChip will be included on National's evaluation boards targeted to the IA market.
