Recently I ran into some Balance Bars in Almond Brownie and Honey Peanut that are clearly improved over the ones I had been eating----and those were already quite good. These were produced in Canada and are so marked. I had one Friday night and said to myself "I wonder how many of these I can eat?" then realized that was not the point of nutrition bars. These new almond brownie bars, if served on a plate in a fine restaurant and sprinkled with confectioner's sugar, would be called something like "Chef Pierre's Dark Chocolate Almond Intensity" and run you about what one of the shares is trading for today. Throw in a $15 million advertisement program, a supposed 35% 5 year growth, and me, I'm all over this stuff. If they only sell it to me, they'll probably break even.
