So, after drooling over The Stitchery's website for abotu an hour, I decided to make a quick trip to Michaels at lunch to see if I could find a project that would be quick and easy to test out my creativity and make sure that it hasn't completely dried up before moving on to move complex projects. The result?

Punch Needle. I've never tried it before, but the premise seems fairly simple and the supplies ran less than $20. I got a cute little panda in bamboo. If this works, my plan is to take a picture of Braith and Becca, draw it onto cloth, get the floss and render them in a textile picture suitable for framing. But first, I'll see if the panda actually looks like a panda when I'm done ;0)
