In regards to the new income tax rates: does anyone know if these have gone into effect yet for payroll deductions? I just started a new job, and it seems like the tax taken out of my taxable income was lower than it should be, especially when compared with the amounts outlined in Circular E (this is an IRS pub that tells employers how much to withhold). If these new rates have gone into effect, has the IRS issued a new publication for them? Thanks for any help.
