Hey all,

I am new to TC2000. I am sure I will have a bunch of questions as I adapt to the changes from what I have been used to with WOWS.

I was hoping someone could help me out here. As I scroll through the industry groups, I dont want to look at all the $1 and $2 stocks. Is there a way to set up my database so that it will only show me stocks that are $8 or more? I dont want to lose them forever, I just dont want to see them on a daily basis.

TIA,
Prestone

You can set up a pcf with a formula like:

c>=8

and then use it as a sort sequence. This will force all stocks with a price of 8 or more to sort to the top of your list.

You can also setup a scan (that doesn't require PCF re-calc) and use it as a filter.

If you mean EasyScan, NoLoadFund, yeah, that works great.

INv44 and NoLoad,

Thanks for the responses, but it did not give me the results I am looking for. I did already learn two new attributes to the software, thanks to your answers.

If I did correctly what you both explained, then I basically created scans.

I need to try to explain in a little more detail what I am looking for.

What I want to be able to do is be able to go to an industry group subsector and look at the list of the stocks in that subsector, and only see stocks that are above $XX.

For example, I want to look at the Auto Parts subsector (within the Automotive sector) and not see penny stocks, such as CLAR.

Is there a way to do that? Or did I not follow your instructions correctly.

Thanks,
Prestone

When you create your scan include two filters:

1. The subsector
2. The personal criterion you created to select stocks > $10 or whatever.

This will display stocks that are above $10 and the subsector.

Unfortunately, you've got to create one of these for every subsector you're interested in.

No, one scan is enough. Right click your WATCHLIST and a Menue will appear that allows you to chose your scan as SUB LIST.

Best
