Hi all,

I've been toying around with my point and shoot for 6 years now and have had a lot of fun. However, the camera won't do what I want a camera to do now. So for the past few months I've been looking at a pile of sites and trying to figure out what I need in a camera.

Today, for my birthday on Sunday, I picked up a D60 for the family to wrap.

I'm really looking forward to shooting with it this summer. Stuck with the kit lens of 18-55 for now, though I know I'll probably pick up a 55-200 or 300 later.

Anyway, just thought I'd say "hi" and let you know I'll be loitering around here for a while.

Simon
