The latest episode aired last night. Overall it was a good simple stand alone story. We won't have to worry about figuring out how the doctor dies or whatever. He meets the Daleks and basically just adds another chapter to his on-going battle with them.
The B story with Amy and Rory was dumb. They were getting a divorce in the first few minutes of the show. I don't think it is a spoiler to say that they love each other at the end of the show.
You have to suspend disbelief to enjoy the show and some of the story is just not really strong. The daleks kidnap Amy and Rory for no good reason. There were some other weak spots but overall it was a good start to the season. Apparently Amy and Rory will be leaving the show. There is a fan rumor that Rory is really the Master in disguise. I don't believe it but it is a fun imaginary storyline.
