Taking advantage of the 75* weather in NC I played golf today at the Pointe Golf Club in OBX land with my wife and two buddies. On #14, a par 3, 116 yd. hole I hit a 7 iron in stiff wind onto the green. The ball bounced twice and rolled into the hole. I have been playing golf for 36 years and have come close twice but no cigar. I also have witnessed two holes in one, including one made by Natalie Gulbis last May at the LPGA event at Kingsmill. All I can say is it is quite a thrill and I hope I don't have to wait another 36 years because I'll be 102 by then. To those of you who have had this experience all I can say is that it was well worth the wait.
