Have sat on marital inheritance of mutuals & stocks
since 1968,mainly Western utilities plus minimal
purchases in the 1970s-odd lots,mutuals,stocks.

As an ignoramus & infrequent player, have gotten
along with no broker after early ones moved or died

Did not keep precise records of mergers, dividends,
div. reinvested, capital gains nor splits. So my
initial cost basis factors are hazy.

How do I derive necessary case of future
sale or conversions or death?

Do all or just some mutuals & stocks have Internet
access to personal records free or at a charge???
Or is it necessary to snail- mail 14 entities for
required records.? Suggestions?????????
