1poorlady got fed-up with her G2X. Nothing but trouble. The Nexus was available direct from Google. She had me buy it.It's a really (really!) nice device. I have a HTC G2, and I like it. This thing is nicer. Bigger screen, better clarity. GPS seems to work pretty well (always a problem with her G2X...even when they replaced it for her, still a problem). Front and back cameras, Google+ hangouts work properly (didn't on the G2X running Gingerbread), and supposedly get updates faster than devices from carriers like Verizon or TMobile. As it's ICS, there is some different stuff to learn. But it is working well. The only annoying thing is there's no removable SD card. It has 16GB of storage, but you can't pull it out. So if you do a factory reset you will lose it all. This means regular backing up on a computer (simple enough, but shouldn't be necessary). As she was moving from the G2X to this, I already backed up the G2X. Couldn't restore it to the Nexus on a XP box, but did on a Win7 box. Fortunately I have Win7 at home. Need to try a backup of the Nexus to be sure there are no problems.I want one now! But my G2 is doing just fine, so I can't justify the cost. Oh well...maybe by the time I need to replace my G2 they will have a newer generation available. :-)1poorguy
