Not a fan of mutual funds in general but they are a good tool to see what the good managers with solid long term results are buying. Fidelity Select Tech is one of those few funds. The 5 yr return is 838%. Anyway, i got the annual report and did some sleuthing. Guess what's thier #1 holding at almost twice as much as the #2 spot? JNPR.... CSCO is # 2. It was a surprise to see a "relatively risky" investment as the # 1 play of such a solid fund. Looking more i discovered that it's also the #1 holding of thier DEV COMM fund and a top holding of thier computers fund. All in all,as of feb. 2000, just in the Select Funds, not counting any of the regular growth funds like magellan, Fidelity held 8.6 million shares of JNPR or nearly 1 and a half BILLION dollars worth at todays price. That's support. Aloha, Mauidog
