I guess everyone has sold their shares by now and stopped posting on this board, therefore, of course, the stock is going up now. There is no news, but I liked the latest press release:

CITY OF COMMERCE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 21, 2006--99 Cents Only Stores(R) (NYSE:NDN) (the "Company") today named 99 years young Arthur Winston as its honorary spokesperson. Mr. Winston retired today after 76 years with the Los Angeles County MTA at the tender age of 99.

Arthur Winston received a congressional citation in 1997 from then President Clinton as "Employee of the Century." Over his 76-year career, Mr. Winston only missed one day of work. That day was for his wife's funeral in 1988. Mr. Winston attributes his health and longevity to not smoking, not drinking and not being in debt.
