No. Not without fraud involved. If she wanted to "hide" it and stay in a medicaid-level of facility she could probably wrangle a way to do that (swiss bank accounts?), but with the look-back at accounts that is allowed, and the fact that this would be welfare fraud, I wouldn't touch it with a 100-foot pole.Me, I would be happy I had the money to choose to stay in a decent facility if needed.
