no problemo kelbon. I was a little skeptical the first time I tried eyebuydirect too. But think about it this way: You're dropping 400 clams on a pair of eyeglasses at the doctor's for a certainty of good eyeglasses...so that's certainty of -$400.

If you order the online first and they don't work out it would be -$450. If you ordered the online first and they did work out it would be -$50.
So, what probability do you assign to the outcome for -$50 (i.e. the online pair are fine)? 10% doesn't make it a good bet but 15% does.

In any case, this whole situation reminds me of a joke that pervades Patrick O'Brian's Aubrey/Maturin series about the "dogwatches on a ship being curtailed."
