No, transactions in your IRA account have no impact on your current years income tax filing. When you finally take distributions from your IRA (usually after age 59-1/2) at that time, you will pay taxes on any profits over what you originally contributed as taxable contributions to the IRA. Of course, tax deductible contributions will be taxed at that time too unless they were consumed in losses.
