No....I'm still not buying it.Sure, the first x $$ of income is taxed @ 10%, the next y $$ is taxed at 15%, the next @ x%.... That still doesn't change the tax paid on dollar #1. Only $0.26 would be taxed at a higher rate than the previous dollar.RV
