I receive trust distributions as guardian for my child, about $375 for 2000. He is 15 and has no other income. I've been entering the amounts on Sch B and subtracting the amount as required of a "nominee", no taxes paid. Next year, when he has wages from a parttime job and perhaps has to file a return, how will I handle the trust distribution differently? Do I have to issue a 1099 so he can report the $$$. Or? Thanks for help!
