Not a lot of headaches, just some simple tasks. First, make sure that all accounts have been transferred to the Estate. If you get another letter from the IRS about a "missing" 1040, just respond with a copy of the letter for 2006 and add that all income has been reported by the Estate.


Simple tasks I can deal with. I just fear getting into a "right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing" situation.

Never again will I be executor on an estate! When grandma passes, I'm outsourcing it to a pro.
