Not many comments from here. The board seems rather slow for the last year, too.
Personally, I've been boycotting Sony since they put malicious software on CD's and DVD's.
I like the look of the reader, But, you can only put 'their' books on it. From what I've found out, the claim of showing PDF's is sloppy.
Most of my library is with "Fictionwise.com" and they don't have the BBeB format. Only Sony does.
I will wait till another vendor makes a reader that uses the E-Ink face. One that will accept many more file types. File types like "LIT, PDB, PDF, TXT, ...etc....
Sony has shown me they are selfish and greedy. Usually, that attitude come from 'poor quality products'.
I remember I wore out my PalmIIIXE's buttons after about 2 years (why I didn't replace it). I wonder how long this products buttons will last. For $300. plus tax and a cradle $40. It should last many years.
Still hoping for opinions from users. Thanks...
