Not something the media mentions in their getting-sick-will-put-everyone-into-bankruptcy scare tactics.I haven't read a single story saying that "getting sick will put everyone into bankruptcy".I have read several which say statistics indicate that about 900,000 people do go into bankruptcy each year because of medical costs (another 600,000 for other reasons) which are unreimbursed by insurance, either because they didn't have it, or the coverage they thought they had was after-the-fact rescinded by the insurance company.http://www.cnn.com/2009/HEALTH/06/05/bankruptcy.medical.bill...Why would you feel the need to lie about this, or do you just not understand the difference?
