In February I noted that the Average CAGR line on charts 35 years and longer had steepened. This was a prompt jump by many percentage points. I thought it might be double-counted dividends during the 70s and 80s, but it's hard to tell.
Now I'm seeing some 30-year charts with similar issues. No idea what's going on.

Mike's software does not change but the Yahoo data feed is flaky. Worse of all, we don't all get the same download. This is a problem with distributed data on the web, not all servers are synchronized.

As far as I can tell, Mike uses the monthly data feed. Try downloading that from Yahoo to see what you find.
