Not sure where this goes in your poll results, but I would suggest that, as long as you are considering living in Calfornia, that you find some of the really wonderful condos and houses that are available for rent.If you like living near the beach, there are some great bargains, and if you like the Pasadena/inland areas, do check out many of the newly constructed apartments that have great amenities and all new construction. And especially, don't be afraid to bargain. There are some condos in Pasadena that "list" for 1500 to 1800/month; many will drop you to 1200 per month if you agree to sign on for a year or two.It seems way too many people in Southern California are so fixated on purchasing places that the rental market has gone largely unexplored. There are some great places to live!
