Not to keep dragging this on too long beyond its value but the weird thing to me was that what came in my bill indicated that 'a pet', as it said, might "avoid a streetlight" .. NOT that "if your pet gets fried on a metal pole". In other words, it was NOT indicating that if your pet gets HURT by electric shock please notify us, but that if your pet seems to KNOW that something is wrong(!) please notify us. THAT's what is interesting about it -- it's saying "if OUR world is informed by THEIR world, the world of (superior) animal awareness, that something's amiss...". It seems like everyone who has responded has referred to animals in Seattle being literally injured or killed by contacting highly charged poles or whatever .. but that's not what my electric bill was referencing. It was indicating, again, that "your pet may AVOID certain lights" .. again, as if one's dog would somehow KNOW that there was danger there. I mean, is that 'intuitive' knowledge that they're referring to? Or what? Cuz whatever it is, they're acknowledging it, and they're asking you to pass on the animal 'heads up' to them!
thanks
