Hey guys,

The other day I received a call from some man with a foreign accent. He told me that my computer was infected. I immediately asked him who he worked for. He said Windows. hmmm I said... he said are you not worried about your computer? ... I said no I'm not and can I have your name and number so I could report you to the FBI. That did not stop him from repeatedly asking "are you not worried about your computer?" I finally hung up on him and just wrote it off as a telco scam.

Here is the strange thing about it. Today (Friday) I tried calling the originating number from my caller ID 404-891-5588. Expecting a constant busy signal or a your call can not be connected message, I was very surprised to receive a recorded message saying if I am calling because their representative called me and wanted further assistance press 1, press 2 if I want to be placed in their DO NOT CALL DATA BASE or press 4 if I want the phone numbers of the Federal Trade Commission OR Federal Communications Commission to report a problem or concern. When I pressed 4 the appropriate Federal phone numbers were given to me. What the heck??? This is very strange !!!

Your thoughts or comments appreciated.
