Now that we have a digital camera, I will definitely post photos. He is a beautiful black lab, perfectly proportioned but without the wide head that some labs get (I noticed it more in Australia, where golden, wide headed labradors were the norm).Sammy adores DH - thinks the sun, moon and stars shine out of him. The only photo on my desk is of DH playing with Sammy when he was still a puppy. They're fighting over a sock at Sammy's house (we were dog sitting at the time). Man and dog staring at each other face to face, each holding an end of the sock.Sammy can't understand why we insist on talking to his parents when there are far more important things to do (like throwing a ball for him to catch). Afterall, when we dog-sit him, we're his people who've come to look after him and entertain him. That's our whole reason for being there. (We've probably looked after him for 6 months over his 8 year life.)We haven't seen him since August, when they moved to Geneva. God I miss that dog!- Pam (working on getting fences, so that we can have our own black lab)
