Yes, after almost a year I returned to my task from last summer of compiling a FAQ for this board. It is by no means complete or exhaustive, but it contains lots of good threads/info that should help answer regular questions.

I deliberately labeled it NYC FAQ since basically the rest of the state isn't discussed. Not a dismissal at all (big shout out to Ithaca! Eat at Just a Taste or grab pizza at The Nines if you get the chance ...) , I'm just not the right girl to collect it. In fact, there are lots of holes regarding the outer boroughs,restaurants, theaters, music ... but this is better than nothing. I highly encourage anyone to update this whole FAQ whenever they have the urge/time. You can also just reply to the individual posts and add to the linked threads.
