You'll also lose the spread on the conversions to and from NZD.Investing in Swiss currency is for the extremely conservative as the CHF is extremely stable and is not likely to ever be majorly devalued due to hyperinflation. You know you'll get your nominal principal back, and you'll likely have not lost much due to the minimal inflation.
