OK...so just reading all the posts on this board over many months, I swear....Obama is really, REALLY stupid. My god...he was a nightmare from what I heard on this board.

I am listening to him tonight.....much of which is improvised.

Obama is NOT stupid....wrongheaded? Yes..totally. But a crazy, stupid person. NO.

I'm watching Tiger baseball. The "debates", to me, are useless. I know who I am going to vote for. "Winning" or "losing" in these things is in the eye of the beholder. Go over to the Conservative Fools boards. They feel Romney is wiping the floor with Obama. I don't care.

The skills necessary to "win" these things are not necessarily the skills needed to turn the country around.

"I say Romney gets CRUSHED!!!"

I hope you are wrong and I was very pleasantly surprised by Romney's performance during tonight's debate. I'm not thrilled with having to choose him, but he proved tonight that he is head and shoulders a better choice than the "annointed one" and our current narcissistic, condescending, incompetent, hippie King (imho).

My concern is that I put nothing past Obama and his backers to win him this election. They will lie, cheat, steal, buy votes, drive homeless to the polls, forge ballots, create crisis, whatever. If it starts looking like he's losing, I shudder to think what they will do to win. And that's why he needs to lose.....big time.

"They" also said that Carter would win his second term. Praying for a repeat of "them" being wrong (and you, I might add).

The Unabomber wasn't stupid either. Unfortunately, intelligence doesn't stop people from inflicting massive damage on the world around them. In fact, intelligence combined with poor values can be catastrophic. I'm just glad that Obama's leadership ability is so poor. Can you imagine the damage he could do if he had the leadership ability of someone like Hitler?

True. Obama appears unwilling to work for what he wants. He expects it to be handed to him. Just willingess to work towards a goal would make him more dangerous.

Obama will WIN THE ELECTION.. Yeah, politicallly, the conservatives SUCK.

I don't know. I don't see the blind adulation of Obama from four years ago. He may be ahead in the polls, but who's being polled. All I sense in this country is weariness. Being put through the wringer is anything but inspiring. People are still going on with their daily lives, but with a feeling of caution. Obama's base is fired up. Romney is not exactly a conservative but also not the consuming, professional politician the likes of Obama. His approach seems a bit milquetoast, but underneath, I think he's got more smarts. On the whole, I guess this gives Obama an edge. He can orate, but it's empty rhetoric. The question is, how many people are truly fooled and how many have gotten wiser. Also, voters don't exactly cotton to the unknown. Actually, as the frog/pot analogy goes, we're in the slightly uncomfortably warm stage but we'll be quickly stewed if Obama wins again. He does not respect the general populace, has no affinity for them. A second term will see some of the PA types howling with indignation - not that it's any consolation.

A quick review of Obama's life story (at least what has been divulged to the public) shows that Obama has had a lot of things handed to him. Even in his election campaigns, he's had opponents that were forced to drop out or that were lame (example John McLame).

So does Obama like get the same pension regardless of whether he serves one term or two? If he gets the same amount regardless it could be like the best thing for him to be an ex-President. He and Michelle can spend the next thirty years vacationing on the Government's dime. Golfing, swimming in Hawaii, eating hamburgers, what a deal!

As much as he likes relaxing and taking it easy and taking vacations maybe losing isn't such a bad idea for Obama?

I do not think so. Even though I am pesimistic about American culture and it's continual decline, I think there are enough good/decent people in America to make a difference this November.

AOL, I was around in 1980 when Carter mucked up the economy and foreign policy on a collosal scale. He was way ahead in the polls leading up to the election. I was a senior in High School civics class every day where we discussed it. The teacher was a conservative and pretty much blasted Carter as an imbecile. Yet, he thought like everybody else Reagan would probably lose.

The rest is history. Carter was b!tch slapped big time. Reagan won what, 43 out of 50 states in a landslide victory. It was magnificent.

Romney is no Reagan.. But the economy is so bad, especially in the battleground states that elected Obama last time, I just can't see him winning most of them again.

People vote their wallets in most cases and most intelligent people realize the media is biased to the democrats. I see Obama going home. It won't be like 1980... but it will be a loss for him.

My impression is that he would be happier if he lost. Then he could spend his time hobnobbing with his rich socialist buddies on their estates and their yachts and making tens of millions giving speeches to the Kool-Aid© drinkers. The only downside is that he would lose the opportunity to continue changing America into a bankrupt soviet-style state.

In 2004, Obama made a great speech to the DNC convention and excited the grassroots.

Little discussed fact: Weeks after the speech, he quietly sent aids into Iowa to gauge a candidacy.

While 2008 was an EASY year for a Dem, I'd say that a fella who did not come from the Establishment, yet was able to organize caucus states so well, and stay under the Clintonian radar screen until he beat them in Iowa...is not a stupid guy.

He's smart.

He knows what he's doing.

Hence my theory, he's hurting America on purpose.

He is also , just flat out lazy when it comes to job related activities. Apparently always has been

I think he's an acolyte of America's enemies, I think he believes the same things they do.

However, and this will also offend 'conservatives'....obama is also a tool of America's other enemy....multinationals, wall street, etc. These entities have no flag, and have parked themselves permanently in the halls of academica, government, banking, and think tanks.

They used to be mostly Liberal but now, via NeoConservatives, they've convinced Conservatives that they belong to this group also.

Sucks.

Wow, as a conservative, I sure hope that does not offend many conservatives.

That is why I hope most folks who are conservative well are conservatives!

The ability for the tendrils of government to reach somewhere is an obvious touch point where corruption can pay huge dividends. There is not as many folks who are power hungry IMO, as just flat out greedy SOBs. Government puts them both together and creates a forum for them to reach across the divide and compromise at the expense of those citizens there to be exploited.

They say that we ain't got the style,
We ain't got the class,
We ain't got the tunes that's goin to put us on the map
And I'm a phony in disguise,
Tryin to make the radio,
I'm an anti-social anarchist, I sound like so and so,
They say I'm just a stupid kid,
Another crazy radical,
Rock and roll is dead I probably should've stayed in school,
Another generation X who somehow slipped up through the cracks,
Oh they'd love to see me fall but I'm already on my back

And it goes In One Ear,
And right out the other,
People talkin' chit but you know I never bother,
It goes In One Ear,
And right out the other,
People talkin' chit,
They can kiss the back of my hand
Now I know I'm not a saint,
I been a sinner all my life,
I ain't tryin to hide me flaws,
I'd rather keep them in the light,
They wanna criticise, scrutinize,
Cast another stone,
Burn me at the stake and sit and watch it from their throne,
They say the devil is my pal,
I do a lotta drugs!
The crowd will only like me if they're really f***in' drunk,
They think they know my thoughts,
But they don't know the least,
If they listened to the words they'd find the message tucked beneath

But it goes In One Ear,
And right out the other,
People talkin chit even though they never bother,
It goes In One Ear,
And right out the other,
People talkin' chit, they can kiss the back of my hand

(You hear that... you hear what's coming? Oh you better run for the hills, cos we're coming to your town, and we're gonna burn that mother f***er down!)

Here's the moral to the story,
We don't do it for the glory,
We don't do it for the money,
We don't do it for the fame
So all the critics who despise, go ahead and criticise,
It's your tyranny that drives us, adds the fire to our flames

And it goes
In One Ear,
And right out the other,
People talkin' chit but you know we'll never bother,
It goes In One Ear,
And right out the other,
I'm only playing music cos you know I f***in love it,
It goes In One Ear,
And right out the other,
People talkin' chit but you know we'll never bother,
It goes In One Ear, and right out the other,
People talkin chit well you know they can kiss the back of my hand.
