Odd maybe but smart.By sending you that book it will probably make it a lot easier for them to keep their numbers straight when folks send in extra money for principle payments. A lot of people just add extra to their checks, often times odd sumes that have no bearing on the actual size of the principle part due next, just whatever they have on hand, and never acually mark what it's for assuming that it will go toward principle. So Fleet obviously figures that a few bucks spent printing an extra book will probably mean less time wasted by employees trying to sort out extra payments or solving problems when extra money doesn't go where it's supposed to.herb
