If anybody is interested just wanted to post what full service broker Ramsey Crookall from Isle on Man charges. Looks like lots but I am a tax exile so it is easier this way.

I can advise you today of the two purchases in South Africa.

You bought :

200 SASOL @ £16.861286 (ZAR 236.3143)

Commission =£60.00, Delivery Charge £25.00, Compliance Charge £7.50
= Net costs of £3,464.76

700 MTN Group @ £6.082562 (ZAR 85.248329)

Commission = £74.51, Delivery Charge £25.00, Compliance Charge £7.50
= Net costs of £4,364.80

Total cost for both purchases = £7,829.56

We have Bought 300 Grupo Aeroportuario ADR's @ a sterling price of
£12.00, (USD 23.45).

Charges = £63.00 Commission (Discounted rate), £25.00 Delivery Fee
plus a £7.50 Compliance Charge.

Net costs = £3,695.50

Some from last month, not itemized:

Bought 1,000 Neteller @ £1.595, total cost after expenses = £1,645.48

thanks for sharing drab. But I was really impressed by the transactions costs? I bought Sasol with Etrade and it cost me only 8 bucks each way. I think I'll pay less in taxes--of course if Sasol goes up a couple of hundred percent then you'll do better I guess.

Mike
