Oh, a week is not NEARLY long enough!

My personal favorites: Arches National Park .... not nearly as crowded as G.C. and with equally as beautiful vistas. Monument Valley which is on the Utah / Arizona border. Accessible from G.C. from the northeast end and from Arches by driving south from Moab, thru Blanding (long drive)

Or, going the other way from G.C. you have Zion and Bryce in SE Utah. All of these parks, as well as some others constitute the Grand Circle Tour.

Dreaming wishfully,

DP
