Oh wait...I do carry with me a small eyeglass kit with a teeny weeny screwdriver

Mine was found at Paris on a layover from Genoa. I had no idea it was in there, so the conversation got a bit funny.

French security guy: "SCREW driver"
"Huh?"
"screw DRIVER!"
"I don't think so...."
Gestures to my glasses and pantomimes screwing the side piece on.
Finally the light dawns.

The French really are good mimes. But if he knew it was there all along, why the heck did he ask? All he had to do was unzip the bag which he had pulled off the belt and show me what he was talking about.
