Oh yeah, I almost forgot about Scion. A couple years back I was looking at a few of the models. I was thinking they offer Toyota quality but, for much cheaper... with $16,000 in cash and no wish for car payments Honda would not deal with meI saw on Yahoo! Autos that the Fit had an MSRP of $13,950 - $16,070. (http://autos.yahoo.com/honda_fit/) going over 16k for a little car like the Fit, seems outrageous. Like you, I wouldn't go for it either. Especially knowing Honda, they never back down. I doubt we'll ever see Honda offering 0.0% APR like GM. I'm thinking the dealer's unwillingness to move a car for less than the most he thinks he can get for it is a testament to the demand for the Fit. Most of the American brands are dying to get rid of cars and Honda is holding on to them waiting for someone to overpay by $2,500... that's well over a year's worth of gas for your Scion.- TMFRyanI am long HMC
