Oh yeah, you think you're all nerds? You want the ultimate nerd symbol???

Okay, yeah, you can go on any pi internet page and find that. But I have that memorized. MEMORIZED PEOPLE!!! You want pi memorized to 33 digits? I've got it!

I'm a numbers geek. I was about thirteen years old and my family was in Seattle on vacation, and visiting a science museum that had about 150 numbers of pi out on a wall. My dad (who's also a numbers geek) and I bet each other on who could memorize more digits in the time we were there. It took me five minutes to memorize it out 33 digits, and he didn't bother trying (he was playing around and was "reading" the numbers off a reflection in the glass). He couldn't believe I memorized those numbers that quickly.

Ever since then, I've been able to spout out pi to 33 digits like it's my home phone number, and will likely never forget it. I fear that if I ever have the same competition with my kid when he's that age, I may memorize out to 50+ digits.

Don't tell me about nerd-dom...I invented it... :-)
