OK, but essentially gutting the health care system in this country for less than 8% of the population is wrong-headed, in my opinion. Yes, there are many ways health savings can be gained, but the 2,700 page PPACA legislation isn't it.

There are only three ways health savings can be gained:

1) Provide less health care.

2) Create a system where patients care about cost - and, in that large majority of situations where it's feasible, have access to the necessary information so that they can include cost in their choices.

3) Enslave a certain percentage of young people and force them to go into medicine without compensation.

I don't think #1 or #3 will go over well.
