OK, I'll help. Richard postulated that other countries are even worse than the Czech Republic in the category of "dirtball leaders".Perhaps Richard is right.First, I thought, "Maybe the U.S. is worse". After I stopped working for "Big Money", I received an unexpected phone call to my apartment in Brno, Czech Republic from my last supervisor in the U.S. Air Force **ten** years before, a Major John Russell. John began the conversation innocently enough with small talk. I asked John about his family, and he told me that his youngest son, Joey, had gotten into some trouble with the police. Then, John started to READ (definitely he was reading) a statement about a worker at Offutt AFB in Omaha, Nebraska (John and my last duty station) who disappeared on his way to work one morning. The message was clear to me. 1) I was being threatened by "Big Money" through John. 2) Somebody from the U.S. justice system had offered a deal to John--make this phone call, and your son's police record will be erased.Maybe Richard is right. In this case, dirtball leaders in the U.S. extended all the way down to the level of a Major in the military.I thought further about the Czech Republic, however, and...well, I'll discuss more interesting event in a future reply to this thread.
