OK, I'm officially going to chill out now. I have enough on my own plate without poking around at my parents' investments any more. I am going to check out a few of the books mentioned in this thread and read them for my own benefit. If I like them, I may recommend them to my parents. "Hey, I just read this great book!"

But as others have mentioned, they are not dummies, and they have plenty of time to figure things out for themselves.
