I am 65 years old and would like to invest in stock for long growth. However, when reading the information from the Motley Fool Site and book I see we are looking for a 15 year investment time. I look at my life expectancy and I am not sure I want to wait 15 years for growth.

Can anybody help me with the investment strartegies that would be useful from age 65? I have approx $15,000 to invest in stocks.
